In addition to our core services, Poroman can design and deliver Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) services to commercial, not for profit (NFP) and government clients. Our MEL services help organizations measure the impact of their programs, identify areas for improvement, and track progress over time. We use a range of tools and methodologies to ensure that our MEL services are robust, reliable, and actionable. We can design and conduct MEL in remote environments with the highest regard for risk management and security. MEL is an important component of a comprehensive social performance management system.
We also provide Third-Party Monitoring (TPM) services, helping organizations ensure that their programs are implemented according to the highest standards of accountability and transparency. Our TPM services include on-site monitoring, data collection, and analysis, as well as reporting and feedback to program implementers and donors.Our Research and Analysis services provide highly localised and contextual analysis of the social, economic, and political context in which development projects operate. Our strong local knowledge and community-based networks are combined with a range of quantitative and qualitative research methods to gather data, analyse findings, and provide evidence-based recommendations to inform program design, implementation, and evaluation.
